A postdoctoral research position is available in the Applied Theoretical Physics group of Prof. Joachim Dzubiella ().
The candidate is expected to develop, conduct, and analyze statistical physics and reaction-diffusion theoretical as well as simulation approaches to model active mixtures of response colloids, closely linked with experiments of our collaboration partners.
Applicants should have a master’s degree and PhD/Dr. in theoretical physics and experience in coarse-grained simulations of complex liquids and the statistical mechanics of classical interacting many-body systems. Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent spoken and written English skills, programming and scripting skills, such as Python, C/C++, outstanding commitment, and interest in interdisciplinary and independent scientific work.
The position has a planned start in October, 2025 and is at first limited to 2 years.

The position is limited to 30. September 2027. The salary will be determined in accordance with TV-L E13.
