Starting October 1, 2025, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne, the graduate school of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne, offers

8 鈥淧redoc鈥� scholarships for the preparation of a doctoral dissertation project,

each of 鈧� 1.200 per month and for a time period of six months. The purpose of the 鈥淧redoc鈥� scholarship is to enable candidates to begin working towards a doctorate at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne immediately after obtaining their qualifying degree. The scholarship holders receive a funding for one semester during which they are able to develop a doctoral project with a specific focus on interdisciplinary aspects. Please apply by May 2, 2025.
